About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer in a logistics and distribution location in Tracy, California, you will help safeguard the client by monitoring access points, screening people and/or items according to site procedures, and conducting routine patrols to deter security-related incidents. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally with team members and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. The position offers access to a shift-claiming platform for finding additional shifts. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.40 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-screening requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Screen packages, freight, vehicles, and/or individuals entering designated areas in accordance with site policies and applicable procedures.
Monitor access points and loading areas, verify credentials or authorizations as required, and report irregularities to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
