About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Enhanced Security Officer for an assigned site in Wahiawa, Hawaii. The role provides a dependable weekly anchor shift, with a six-month commitment, and the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow the employee to work up to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to scale back. The position is at a food and beverage location and includes screening people and deliveries, monitoring entry points, patrolling designated areas, providing customer service, and responding to incidents. Pay is $18.12 per hour. The listed schedule is Wednesday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries according to site access procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security concerns.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including the business and perimeter, and report hazards, suspicious activity, or policy concerns.
