Security Officer - Open Interviews 11/05 9AM - 1PM
About The Position
The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling a variety of locations. The officer preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites that pertain to personnel, visitors, and the area. The role includes frequent interactions with client employees and guests, customer service, property tours, and use of technology devices throughout the shift. The officer must follow post orders, complete assigned rounds, and carry out other duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Above-average computer and technology skills.
- Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
- Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including a drug screen and background investigation.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Driving record must meet company and/or insurance standards.
- Must be alert, observant, responsible, and dependable.
- Reliable means of transportation needed.

- Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.
Responsibilities

- Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
- Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.

- Conduct tours of the property.
- Respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
- Carry out other tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
