Security Officer - Open Interviews!
About The Position
Securitas USA is hiring Security Officers/Guards for full- and part-time positions, including temporary and permanent openings and temporary holiday roles. Experienced officers are needed for lead positions, but no experience is necessary for other openings. The company provides training for candidates new to the security industry. Officers help maintain safe and secure environments for clients by monitoring and patrolling premises, preserving order, enforcing site regulations and directives, and providing customer service and information to employees and visitors. The role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to meet applicable security licensing requirements, pass a drug screen, and pass a background check. Open interviews are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 7535 Windsor Drive, 2nd floor, Allentown, PA 18195. No appointment is needed. All shifts are available. The stated wage is $17.00–$22.00 per hour. Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
- Be able to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods; the work may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
- Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- No prior experience is necessary; the employer provides training for those new to the security industry.
- Retail, food service, or hospitality industry experience is described as a good fit.
- Experienced officers are needed for lead positions.
Responsibilities
- Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
- Help protect the security and safety of client property and personnel.
- Actively monitor and patrol client premises, which may include a variety of locations.
- Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives for the client site relating to personnel, visitors, and the area.
- Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.
