About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Enhanced for a designated site in Las Vegas, Nevada. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. Additional shifts may be at multiple sites, and hours can vary, with opportunities to build toward a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week.

The position pays $17.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Tuesday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. The Security Officer provides customer service to residents and visitors, conducts unarmed patrols, monitors access and activity, responds to incidents, and documents security-related observations and events.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while following site-specific procedures and community policies and taking appropriate emergency response actions.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding property perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to community procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
