Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Surveillance
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned manufacturing and industrial site in San Antonio, Texas. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor shift with a six-month commitment, along with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. Employees may work variable part-time hours and can build up to a schedule of as many as 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The pay rate is $17.30 per hour. The listed schedule is Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. The Security Officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responds to incidents and alarms, performs unarmed patrols, monitors access, and documents activity. The role may also involve emergency response activities when appropriate. Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. A guard card or license is preferred. Employment is conditional on background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law; applicable licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
- Have a valid driver’s license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations while following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, delivery, and employee activity according to site requirements.
- Complete accurate reports, logs, and shift handoffs, and promptly communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
