About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Enhanced in Dodge Center, Minnesota. The position provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with opportunities to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. Hours may vary from part-time to as many as 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The listed schedule is Sunday, 9:45 AM–10:00 PM. Pay is $20.22 per hour.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency responses. Duties include responding to incidents and alarms, conducting unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, monitoring access, maintaining records, and reporting concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require age 21 or older.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license only if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Report hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
