About The Position

The Reserve Security Officer monitors and patrols different client sites on a variety of schedules to help maintain a safe and secure environment. The officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives relating to personnel, visitors, and client premises. Security Officers may also provide customer service and information to clients’ employees and customers. The posting describes a part-time role scheduled for 16–24 hours per week, with first- and second-shift availability required. Training is provided for candidates entering the security industry.

Requirements

Active Connecticut State Guard Card required.
High school diploma or GED.
One year of security experience required; military or law enforcement experience may substitute.
Calm, polite, and professional demeanor.
Reliable and self-motivated, with a high level of customer service.
Availability for first and second shifts.

Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is considered a good fit.
