About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Response Security Officer in Venice, California. The role varies by day and special event and may involve customer service, patrols, or surveillance. The officer adapts to changing situations while helping maintain security and protect people and property. The schedule is full-time: Saturday and Sunday, and Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The hourly wage is $21.60. A uniform is provided at no cost.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and have completed additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training can be obtained during the hiring process.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Have responsive and strong problem-solving skills.
• Have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
