About The Position

As a full-time unarmed Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Seattle, Washington, you will help safeguard clients and provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct patrols, maintain a visible presence, and follow security procedures and site-specific policies. You may also assist with emergency response activities and help foster a welcoming environment through clear communication with visitors and team members. The scheduled hours are 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday. The pay rate is $21.66 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credential compliance; report irregularities and assist with access-related inquiries.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, communicating with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in required reports and systems.
