About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for front desk visitor processing at a financial institution location in Arlington, Virginia. The officer will provide a welcoming presence, monitor access, assist visitors, and communicate clearly to support a secure environment. The role uses computer or tablet tools to document activity and respond to security-related needs. The posted schedule is Thursday and Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $21.63 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and tenants by following site-specific security procedures and front desk policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, maintain visitor records, and issue or collect access credentials according to site procedures.
Monitor access to the location; respond calmly and professionally to alarms, incidents, and critical situations; and notify appropriate personnel.
Answer and direct telephone calls, provide general information, and maintain clear, accurate logs and reports of daily activities and security-related incidents.
Support a professional front desk environment, help deter unauthorized access, and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
