About The Position

As a Security Officer - Visitor Desk in Phoenix, Arizona, you will serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution. You will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge activities, monitor entry points, and assist employees and guests. The role helps maintain a secure environment through clear communication, attention to detail, and responsive customer service. This is a full-time position paying $23.34 per hour. The schedule is Monday 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, Thursday through Saturday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, and Sunday 10:00 PM–6:00 AM.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and guests while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Greet visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
Monitor access points, reception-area activity, and security-related systems; report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and assist with emergency response activities as directed.
Communicate with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders; document incidents and complete required reports.
