About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer at the Visitor Services Desk in Dallas, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide customer service while helping maintain a welcoming, professional environment. The role uses computer or tablet systems to support visitor services and address security-related concerns. The position pays $19.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Saturday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Applicable state or local licensing requirements may apply.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and guests at the front desk.
Verify identification, follow site-specific visitor management procedures, and maintain accurate visitor records.
Answer and direct incoming calls, receive deliveries, and provide general information.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Observe entrance activity, report unusual conditions, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
