About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer Screening Compliance in Westlake, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution. You will help maintain a welcoming, professional environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and helping deter security-related incidents. The role requires exceptional customer service and clear communication while following site procedures.

The scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM. The pay rate is $19.75 per hour. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, access screening, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals and belongings according to site procedures, verify credentials and authorized access, and report discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor entry points and visitor activity at a financial institution, helping deter unauthorized access and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; work environments and conditions may vary by client site.
