About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Screening Compliance in Ontario, California, serving a logistics and distribution location. This driving position supports a secure environment by screening personnel and materials, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. The officer provides customer service and helps deter incidents through a visible, professional presence. The posted schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Screen individuals, packages, shipments, and personal items according to established procedures.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry credentials to support controlled access to operational areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, business operations, and perimeter areas.
Document observations and report security-related concerns.
