About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Compliance in Mesquite, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will screen personnel, visitors, packages, and vehicles; monitor access points; and report security-related concerns. The role calls for a professional, approachable manner and strong customer service, communication, and technology skills to support daily operations. This is a part-time position scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.82 per hour.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and vehicles entering or leaving the distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and screening documentation.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business and perimeter, to identify unusual activity or conditions.
