About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed overnight Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in White Haven, Pennsylvania. The officer will help safeguard the site and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel. Duties include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine rounds, deterring security-related incidents, responding to concerns, documenting observations, and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. The posted schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel according to site-specific procedures.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
