About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer Patrol Observation in Manchester, New Hampshire, at a government transportation location. The officer will help safeguard the airport by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access points, and responding professionally to security concerns. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and a welcoming environment. The position pays $18.24 per hour and is scheduled Thursday through Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws; a license may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

A state-, county-, or city-issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, travelers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, public and restricted areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries; identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
Monitor access points and assist with access-control procedures in accordance with site requirements and applicable regulations.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency responders as needed.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate clearly with site personnel, Allied Universal leadership, and responding agencies.
