About The Position

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in Kissimmee, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients in government and other industries. You will monitor and patrol a public transportation location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations, communicate professionally with passengers and staff, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will work with integrity and teamwork to support a welcoming environment. This is a full-time position paying $23.95 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Requirements

Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transportation facilities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit locations, parking areas, vehicles, and surrounding perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations, following applicable laws, post orders, and Allied Universal policies.
Monitor access points and assist with access control and visitor direction.
Report unusual activity and maintenance concerns.
Maintain required reports and documentation.
Operate assigned communications equipment and firearms in accordance with training and site-specific requirements.
