Security Officer Part Time Entry Control
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to serve at a residential community in Palm City, Florida. The role involves managing entry points, verifying authorized access, monitoring activity, and providing customer service to residents and visitors. The officer’s visible presence and clear communication help deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming environment. The position is scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The pay rate is $18.04 per hour. Applicants must have a guard card or license, be at least 21 years old, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, manage guest access records, and communicate access concerns according to community procedures.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, access activity, and unusual observations in accordance with company and site requirements.
