About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting in Mountain View, California, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and clients. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support a welcoming environment, provide customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. The listed schedule is Wednesday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, and Saturday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. The pay rate is $25.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency-response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations, coordinating with hospital personnel and first responders when needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site-specific procedures to help maintain an orderly environment.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
