About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Courtesy Patrol Security Officer for a retail location in Charlotte, North Carolina. The officer will help safeguard clients, shoppers, visitors, and tenants by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a welcoming environment. The role involves customer service, professional communication, responding to incidents, and using computer or tablet tools as needed. The posted pay rate is $17.85 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants while carrying out security procedures, location-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, following established escalation procedures.
Monitor access points and observe assigned areas, reporting policy violations and suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with company and location requirements.
