About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Emergency Response in Channahon, Illinois, to serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site operations. The role involves providing customer service and clear communication while working with a reliable team.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
