About The Position

SafeHaven Security Group, LLC is seeking a Private Security Officer to protect people and resources for clients in Harrison, Arkansas. The company provides security services including executive protection, threat assessment, and threat management, and describes its officers as trained to protect clients’ people and property. Compensation is determined based on experience and abilities.

The officer will patrol buildings, control access, respond to and document incidents, report elevated threats to police, and investigate suspicious activities or disruptions. The role also requires a highly visible deterrent presence and professional appearance and interactions. Successful completion of SafeHaven Security Group training and testing is mandatory at hire, and additional training may be requested.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks associated with the duties.
• Ability to utilize a high emotional quotient.
• Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and background check, including state and FBI background checks.
• Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screening.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Successful completion of SafeHaven Security Group training and testing is mandatory at hire; additional training may be requested and must be completed as specified.

Nice To Haves

• Current or previous military and/or police experience is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Patrol buildings and perform other duties as assigned.
• Deny entry to unauthorized individuals and escort them off the property as needed.
• Provide entry to authorized individuals.
• Respond to incidents and provide accurate verbal and written reports to necessary personnel and/or authorities.
• Alert police to elevated threats.
• Protect people, businesses, and property from criminal activity.
• Investigate reports of suspicious activities or disruptions occurring on the property.
• Maintain a highly visible deterrent presence.
• Maintain a professional appearance and behave professionally in interactions with others.
