About The Position

SafeHaven Security Group, LLC is hiring Private Security Officers in Northwest Arkansas, including Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville, and Fort Smith. Officers provide professional security services focused on safeguarding people and property while maintaining a courteous, high-visibility presence. The role includes access control, stationary posts, interior and exterior patrols, incident response, reporting, observation, and de-escalation. Employment is available full-time or part-time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform the required physical tasks, including walking and climbing at the facility.
• Ability to handle administrative tasks.
• Ability to build relationships with DomTar employees using a high emotional quotient.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass state and FBI background checks; the posting states that any felony and most Class A misdemeanors disqualify applicants, even if expunged.
• Ability to pass a mandatory 10-panel drug screening.
• Ability to perform duties in compliance with state requirements, including any required additional training and credentialing.

Nice To Haves

• Current or previous military and/or police experience.
• National Registry for EMT credential.

Responsibilities

• Verify credentials, grant access to authorized personnel, and deny or escort unauthorized individuals.
• Maintain stationary posts and conduct regular interior and exterior patrols.
• Respond promptly to alarms or disturbances and summon law enforcement when needed.
• Provide verbal briefings and prepare comprehensive written incident reports.
• Maintain a professional, high-visibility presence to discourage criminal activity.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior and safety hazards.
• Interact with people at the post and de-escalate potential threats.
• Interact courteously with clients, visitors, and staff in keeping with the company's service standards.
