About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a driving patrol post at a chemical and petrochemical facility in Baytown, Texas. The officer will help safeguard the site through vehicle and foot patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and customer service. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position. The schedule is Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.75 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements; licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and take part in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, hazardous-condition notifications, and critical situations, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations.
Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to appropriate site personnel.
Accurately and promptly document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.
