Security Officer Badge Support
About The Position
As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a logistics and distribution location in Irving, Texas, you will help safeguard clients, employees, visitors, drivers, and the facility. You will conduct patrols, support access control and badge procedures, maintain a visible security presence, assist with traffic flow, and respond to routine concerns and emergencies. The role requires professional customer service, clear communication, and accurate documentation of activity. The listed schedule is Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing may be required before employment, subject to applicable state and local requirements.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves

- CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access by verifying authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel according to site procedures.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
- Help maintain orderly vehicle and pedestrian traffic around shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations while following post instructions.
