About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for a driving role at a healthcare and pharmaceutical location in Framingham, Massachusetts. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, supporting access control and badge verification, responding to incidents, and providing customer service to patients, visitors, staff, personnel, and vendors. The role is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and pays $21.85 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
