About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol security officer in Plainfield, Indiana, at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer will help safeguard the site, support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors, and provide customer service and clear communication while following site procedures and policies. The position pays $17.75 per hour and has scheduled shifts Monday through Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations; identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate professionally with site stakeholders.
