About The Position

As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Earth City, Missouri, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers. The role involves maintaining a visible presence, communicating clearly, and helping deter security-related incidents while supporting smooth operations. This is a part-time position scheduled Thursdays and Fridays from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, paying $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Control facility access by verifying identification, credentials, and authorization for employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers entering restricted areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and access-control systems, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
