About The Position

As a Security Officer Badge Issuance Support in Richardson, Texas, you will safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access control, and support badge-related activities. The role calls for exceptional customer service, clear communication, integrity, teamwork, and a caring, people-first approach, while using technology to document activities and respond to security-related needs.

This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.07 per hour.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification.
• A guard card or license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building operations; verify credentials and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and communicate observations and required information to site contacts or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the building, common areas, parking facilities, perimeter, and other assigned areas to identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations.
• Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
• Support badge-related activities and manage access control.
