About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Orlando, Florida. The officer helps safeguard the site by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to access-related concerns. The role also supports daily operations through clear communication, professional customer service, and a reliable presence. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $18.28 per hour. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor or contractor access documentation, and maintain accurate access-control records.
- Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in accordance with site procedures, notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entry points, parking areas, production-adjacent exterior areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
- Assist with access control for deliveries, contractors, and after-hours personnel.
- Communicate professionally with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
