About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a cultural institution care environment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The officer conducts patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, responds to security-related concerns, and provides welcoming customer service and clear communication to residents, visitors, and staff. The role is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and pays $19.75 per hour. Employment is contingent on applicable background and drug screening. Licensing may be required under state or local rules.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site-specific procedures, policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Help maintain a welcoming environment while remaining aware of security concerns and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
