About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time Surveillance Security Officer in Syracuse, New York. The role is scheduled for 24 hours per week, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. The officer monitors security systems and surveillance screens, identifies potential threats, documents incidents, responds to emergencies, conducts patrols, controls access to secure areas, and helps protect people and property. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Successfully pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents in detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
