About The Position

KRE Security LLC is hiring a confident, professional, and people-friendly Security Officer for a seasonal assignment at a local convenience store in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. This part-time role requires frequent interaction with customers, employees, and the public. The officer must be comfortable communicating expectations, setting boundaries, and standing firm when necessary while remaining calm and respectful.

The schedule is Friday and Saturday nights from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM. The position is seasonal, with the possibility of additional hours at other KRE client locations when this assignment does not require coverage. The primary goal is to maintain a visible, professional security presence and help provide a safe environment for employees, customers, and property.

Requirements

• Comfort communicating with people throughout the shift, including greeting people, answering questions, and explaining expectations.
• Ability to set and enforce boundaries professionally and confidently while remaining calm and respectful.
• Ability to think clearly, communicate effectively, and avoid escalating situations.
• Reliability and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence at the location.
• Interact frequently and professionally with customers and employees.
• Monitor activity and identify situations that may require attention.
• Address minor issues before they become bigger problems.
• Enforce site rules and security expectations professionally and confidently.
• Respond appropriately to disturbances or concerning behavior.
• Communicate with KRE and client representatives when situations arise.
• Complete required reports and documentation.
• Contact emergency services when appropriate.
• Follow KRE procedures and client post orders.
