About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security operations and identify potential threats before they escalate. The role involves observing screens and sensitive areas, protecting people and property, responding to incidents, and documenting actions taken. The position is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Candidates must complete 16 hours of on-the-job training. Full-time hours are not guaranteed.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent (GED).
Pass an extensive screening process.
At least 2 years of Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience.
Active DC security license.
At least 21 years of age, as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
Experience using Microsoft applications or Google applications and security systems.
Experience with Incident/DAR reports.

Responsibilities

Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
React quickly to threats or incidents.
Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
Document incidents and actions taken.
Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
