About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for a driving patrol assignment at a retail location in Bryant, Arkansas. The position has a designated weekly shift at an assigned site that requires a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and adjust hours as needed. The stated shift is Thursday, 11:30 AM–11:30 PM. Pay is $15.75 per hour, paid weekly.

The role provides security and customer service for clients, shoppers, and associates. It involves regular and random unarmed patrols of the retail site, monitoring and reporting unusual activity and hazards, assisting with access control, and responding professionally to incidents and emergencies.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a license is required for driving positions.
• Applicants for unarmed roles must be at least 18 years old.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• The designated site and weekly anchor shift require a six-month commitment.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and unauthorized access, and report observations through established procedures.
• Provide directions, assist with access control, and communicate professionally with store personnel and visitors.
