About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer with a TSA-issued TWIC credential in Alvin, Texas, you will help safeguard a chemical and petrochemical location. You will maintain a visible security presence, conduct routine patrols, support access control, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide customer service and communication. The role pays $19.00 per hour and has a schedule spanning Thursday through Sunday, with shifts from 2:00 PM–10:00 PM Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM Friday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM Saturday, and 6:00 PM–6:00 AM Sunday. The position requires a background investigation and drug screen as conditions of employment, subject to applicable laws.

Requirements

Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, and site policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible security presence at a chemical and petrochemical location.
