About The Position

As a full-time Access Control Officer at a financial institution location in El Segundo, California, you will help safeguard the client by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns in a timely manner. The listed pay rate is $19.50 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Requirements

Possess a TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures and access-control protocols and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access-related records according to site policies.
Respond calmly and effectively to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned business and perimeter areas to identify unauthorized access and potential security concerns.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while supporting a controlled and professional environment.
