Security Officer Part Time CPR First Aid Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in San Francisco, California. The officer will help safeguard the property and provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors. Duties include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, responding professionally to concerns and incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment. The schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The pay rate is $27.90 per hour. The role involves regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols, monitoring access points and visitor activity, preparing reports, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- A Guard Card or license.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
- Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
- Identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Assist with directing visitors and contractors as needed.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs related to incidents, patrols, and other security observations.
