About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provides customer service and clear communication. The role involves responding professionally and with integrity to security-related concerns while supporting a welcoming environment. The position is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and pays $17.63 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including offices, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help deter unauthorized access.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
