About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned site in Houston, Texas. The role provides a fixed weekly overnight shift at a manufacturing and industrial location, with a six-month commitment to the designated site and shift. Officers may also claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, offering the opportunity to increase hours up to 40 per week and build toward full-time work. The listed pay rate is $14.50 per hour.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities. Duties include unarmed patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and reporting hazards or other concerns to site management or Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required entry and incident documentation.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, property damage, and policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
