Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Response
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer for a driving patrol response post in a healthcare setting in Kailua, Hawaii. The role serves and safeguards clients while providing customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors. The officer conducts routine and random patrols, maintains a visible presence, responds to incidents and emergencies, monitors access points, and communicates observations and activities to supervision and site representatives. The position requires a valid driver’s license. Pay is $25.76 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Friday and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- May need to meet state and/or local licensing requirements before employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations; notify hospital personnel or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site policies; assist with directions, escorts, and access-related questions.
- Prepare accurate reports and communicate incidents, observations, and shift activities to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.
