Join Allied Universal at a dynamic commercial real estate location as an unarmed patrol officer, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and supporting access awareness throughout the property. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial office location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe site activity, and document daily operations, incidents, and/or policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site-specific guidelines.
• Assist with visitor and tenant interactions, provide directional support, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, lighting issues, and/or other property concerns to the appropriate contacts.
