As a Security Officer - Downtown Tower in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support tenants and visitors through strong customer service and communication while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, a people-first culture, teamwork, and integrity every day.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor and vendor check-in processes, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or policy violations according to post orders.
• Support property operations by helping to address tenant concerns, monitoring for unsecured doors and/or lighting issues, and communicating security-related observations in a professional manner.
