About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to support access control at a healthcare location in Manteca, California. The officer will help safeguard the site by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, maintaining a professional presence, conducting patrols, and communicating with visitors and staff. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and supporting a team that acts with integrity and puts people first. The position pays $21.00 per hour and is scheduled for daytime shifts on Mondays and Fridays, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records; issue authorized access credentials; and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
