About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Gaston, South Carolina, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor and patrol the site, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role includes conducting routine patrols, reporting observations, communicating professionally with employees and visitors, and providing exceptional customer service. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.19 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any state or local licensing requirements that may apply before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, facility grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access by verifying visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and access-control records, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
