About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Kansas City, Missouri, to serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. The role supports customer service and site security procedures in a collaborative team environment. The work schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $19.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of work areas, access points, parking areas, perimeter boundaries, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access attempts, property damage, and hazards to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, follow established site procedures, and contact emergency services when appropriate.
Assist with access control by verifying authorized entry, directing visitors and delivery personnel, and maintaining required activity logs and reports.
