About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Three Rivers, Michigan. The role involves conducting routine unarmed patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access, and reporting security-related concerns. The officer will interact professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors, provide customer service, and help maintain a welcoming environment. The position is scheduled Friday and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM and pays $17.07 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, communicating observations to site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
Observe and report hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and policy concerns according to company and site-specific procedures.
