About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Tablet Operator in Sterling, Virginia, serving a food and beverage production location. The officer monitors and patrols assigned areas, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, supports access control, and provides customer service. The role involves communicating professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, and emergency responders and using computer or tablet tools as needed.

The position pays $16.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local laws. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, and emergency responders.
• Use computer or tablet tools as needed.
